SAS operate two mobile shredders, both of which are capable of shredding Hard Drives, Tapes and Optical Media to less than 6mm particle size meeting the CPNI standard. Due to the high capacity of their vehicles, SAS can combine the onsite shredding with the removal of the end of life ICT equipment.
The JBF shredder that SAS run is a CPNI approved product, the Untha shredder provides a high-volume capability meaning less time on site and lower costs. The onsite shredding solutions are completely self-sufficient and run on super silent low emission generators minimising any impact on the local environment.
The SAS Shredding vehicles are Euro 6 Compliant and FORS Silver accredited meaning a safer and more environmentally friendly service. Following completion of the shredding, SAS remove all the waste materials from site for compliant waste disposal.
RECYCLING SERVICES
In addition to the onsite service, SAS can securely collect the hardware or media for disposal and carry out data destruction and recycling services at their site. The SAS site is registered with the Environment Agency enabling WEEE compliant disposal, avoiding landfill. Registered with the ICO as a Data Processor; SAS count and scan media to ensure a full audit trail for disposal. Following the completion of the shredding, SAS provide a destruction report and certificate providing our clients with peace of mind and the compliance documents they need.
